During the BW on HANA implementation in the automotive group, our Xient Solution Architects first made an effort to consolidate data from the complex system environment of different departments. In addition to SAP modules, the data sources ranged from DB2 databases under the main systems to classic Excel lists. The interface architecture also had to guarantee export to various third-party applications.<\/p>\r\n
At the same time, the transfer of information between the group's stakeholders had to be clean and error-free. On the basis of the reporting system optimized by us, volume and capacity planning in production as well as order processing and commissioning were aligned. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Our Xient engineers and experts accompanied the implementation from the initial analysis to the conceptual design of the new system architecture and the conversion to the new SAP BW environment. Of course, they worked closely with the various departments of the group to best implement the necessary requirements for internal reporting. This holistic project approach is a fundamental part of our work.<\/p>\r\n
The result of the collaboration between the car manufacturer and Xient, the resulting solution is a completely revised reporting system based on SAP technologies. The architecture we have created allows those responsible in the group to make all decisions based on high-performance dashboarding.
