Xient continues its projects in Turkey as one of the IT companies located in Yıldız Technical University Technopark. Our company has made a name for itself in our country with the successful projects it has developed in a short time. During this time, we continue to strengthen ourselves with new software developers and academic staff joining the team.  As our next Technopark project, we aim to develop a software that will complete the carbon footprint calculation in different areas. At the same time, one of our primary goals is to develop our project and receive investment through TÜBİTAK programs. In this way, we want to continue our work on one of the issues that will be on the agenda for the next 15-20 years.

Co2 is a popular concept these days!

Carbon footprint (Co2) and Co2 calculations continue to gain importance day by day. In addition, the standards and regulations of various institutions are frequently changing. This brings to mind the integration of relevant processes into software and automation systems. As Xient, we know that these processes will undergo frequent changes and need to be constantly updated. That's why we continue our efforts to make the product we will launch user-friendly. The software we will develop will address the issue in many dimensions and at the same time can be used in every sector. This software will enable companies to maximize their integration with EU regulations and practices such as carbon at the border. Another set of rules that companies are required to comply with by EU harmonization laws is ESG. ESG (environmental, social and governance) compliance, which is supported by the EU, is currently only advisory, not mandatory. It is likely that its importance will be brought to the forefront both in the EU and in our country in the near future.

Our company is in cooperation with leading organizations in Germany. We are very confident in our knowledge, equipment and experience we have gained within the framework of Germany and therefore the EU. For this reason, we consider the software we have developed quite reasonable in line with both national interests and commercial interests.

Sustainability, ESG and Co2

Xient's commitment to develop a software solution to calculate Co2 reflects its commitment to sustainable development and the environment. Addressing the economic, environmental and social aspects of carbon footprint, the software aims to provide companies with a practical tool that not only helps them reduce their environmental impact, but also ensures their compliance with EU regulations and ESG standards.

The economic dimension of our carbon footprinting software solution is critical for companies. This is because it allows them to identify cost saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Our software will analyze energy consumption, waste management and supply chain emissions, enabling businesses to make informed decisions that positively impact their bottom line while reducing their carbon footprint.

An all-encompassing software!

The environmental aspect of the software focuses on measuring greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts associated with business activities. By providing comprehensive data and analysis, Xient's software will help companies identify the environmental consequences of their operations. This in turn will enable the implementation of practices such as energy-efficient technologies, waste reduction strategies and the adoption of renewable energy. Indirectly, our software will lead to increased environmental awareness within companies.

The social dimension of our Co2 measurement software considers the wider societal impact of companies' activities. This takes into account factors such as employee well-being, community engagement and social responsibility initiatives. At Xient, we aim to improve the social performance of companies by integrating these elements into the software. We also believe that we can make a positive contribution to society in this way. These contributions include promoting diversity and inclusion, supporting local suppliers, and engaging in social projects and philanthropy.

Why did Xient decide to develop such software?

While collaborating with leading organizations in Germany, our company aims to transfer its know-how in the EU context to Turkey. By sharing expertise, technology and best practices through Technopark, Xient aims to maximize its sustainability in Turkey and contribute to the national economy through internal and external resources. In short, the elements underlying our software idea are our team, our know-how and our environmental awareness...
