We are in the Anthropocene Age! Yes, you didn't hear me wrong, the Anthropocene era, but what does this term mean?

This term, anthropogenic (anthropogenic) impacts on ecosystems on a large scale. The term is used to refer to the impacts of human activities on ecosystems around the world; it describes a period of time when human impacts on the natural environment have increased markedly.

Human impact is closely linked to climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and other environmental problems. These problems are nowadays eco-anxiety and it's causing it. What does eco-anxiety mean? We can say that people worry about future uncertainties due to climate change and depletion of natural resources. It refers to the state of being concerned about the decline of natural scarce resources or the course of the world in relation to ecological activities. So what is the main cause of this anxiety? Of course it is greenhouse gases'is. Greenhouse gases include all gases that trap heat in the atmosphere and cause global warming. The most polluted of the main gases responsible for greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide. Already "carbonfootprint" measurement and term was developed from this context. Greenhouse gases are the biggest driver of the climate crisis and cause deforestation, urbanization, industrial agriculture, etc. This cause is a eco-genocideGenocide was derived from the English term "genocide" and originated in 1944. The term eco-genocide, which means the deliberate destruction of nature by human activities on a rapid and large scale, is a concept that has emerged in the millennium. It is literally the slaughter of nature! When we think globally, this situation increasingly constitutes a criminal offense. It has even appeared in the international criminal literature.

We must meet the needs of the present without reducing the scarce resources available for future generations. We must not destroy resources while producing. We must be based on social equity and justice to ensure reasonable access to education, food and health care. This statement of principle is the explanation of the term sustainable development. For the environment, for people, for the economy;  sustainable development model. It is also a state of pretending to conform to this model; green washing/green laundering it's called. In the industrial society, it is known as eye-painting. It is an attempt to gain prestige for a company, brand or production process to enter the global market with inaccurate statements or incomplete information.

Make the anthropocene era sustainable without greenwashing/greenwashing, in line with sustainable development goals, without triggering eco-genocide, avoiding practices that cause climate crisis activities as much as possible and minimizing your carbon footprint, without driving society into eco-anxiety.
