Your technical partner for European research
From YTÜ Teknopark in Istanbul, Xient Türkiye runs its R&D as part of the Xient group's national and international research strategy. We carry out applied research with universities, research institutes and technology companies, and take responsibility for data, architecture, AI and technical implementation in consortia. Xient GmbH is registered in the EU Funding and Tenders Portal under PIC 882039625.
Programs
Programs we work in.
Each program has its own focus, partnership rules and eligibility criteria. We choose the program that fits the project idea, and we review funding rates and conditions with our partners for every call.
Horizon Europe
The European Union's framework program for research and innovation, which Türkiye takes part in. We contribute data and AI work packages, system architecture, pilots and the transfer of results into enterprise use.
EUREKA
An intergovernmental network supporting near-market international R&D, with Türkiye among its members. We contribute technology development with partners that can grow into products and services.
Eurostars
A joint program of EUREKA and the European Union for projects led by R&D-performing SMEs. We contribute technical development and validation on the software, data and AI side.
ITEA
The EUREKA Cluster for software-intensive systems and services. We contribute architecture and implementation for enterprise software, integration and AI-based systems.
TÜBİTAK
Türkiye's national research and technology council; it provides national R&D support and plays a role in funding Turkish partners in international projects. We contribute project structures that link national projects with international consortia.
University-industry partnerships
Theses, joint research questions and applied projects. We bring real enterprise data and system questions into research.

From Istanbul to European consortia.
Xient Türkiye is based at YTÜ Teknopark, the technology development zone of Yıldız Technical University, and carries out its R&D there with academic partners. This work runs on the same projects and with the same teams as our technology center in Germany; in Skopje we also collaborate with FINKI at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University. For development and testing we use our own AI infrastructure and Europe's LUMI AI Factory.

In what role do you join consortia?
As partner, work package leader or coordinator, depending on the project. Our role is agreed with the partners each time. Xient is the coordinator of the AEGIS proposal.
What technical contributions does Xient Türkiye bring?
Data architecture and engineering, AI and agentic systems, enterprise integration, prototype development and pilot implementations.
Do you help prepare proposals?
Yes. Together with our partners, we prepare the technical parts of a proposal, from identifying the opportunity to defining work packages and budget.
